Welcome to Kreatively Hook'd, my name is Kristina. I am the face (and hands) behind the hook and keyboard. I first began Kreatively Hook'd in 2014 as a way to sell my creations and turn my hobby into a source of income and after a year of success life happened and slowly my focus was diverted away from my business. Guess what though... I'M BACK and I'm excited to share my journey with you!!
I first learned to crochet when I was a young girl; my Grandmother taught me during one of her trips to Florida. I didn't crochet much after I first learned though, I mean being outside playing was way more exciting back then. When the wild years of my teens passed and I began settling down into adulthood, I picked up a hook and some yarn at my local big box store and followed along with a YouTube video until it all came back to me.
My husbands job relocated us to beautiful Columbia, TN in July of 2019. Given that I have lived in major cities most my life, Columbia has definitely been a change for us. With its historic roots, beautiful scenery, one of a kind shops and friendly community, it was easy to fall in love with my new home. However, my favorite part is I finally get to experience all four seasons again! This means not only do I get to create beautiful colder weather accessories and apparel I also get to wear them!
Here on the blog you will find some of my favorite patterns from other amazing designers, patterns of my own, crochet how-tos and some of the best tricks I've learned along the way.
Now crochet will not be the only thing you find here, like any crafter I find myself wanting to try all different types of crafts and I will be sharing ALL those moments with you too! Yes, I said all those moments, even the not so great ones! 😁
